Vatsala Ratnasabapathy, who heads our Construction, Engineering and Arbitration practice, will be speaking at “The Inaugural Masterclass on Adjudication” hosted by the Society of Construction Law Malaysia on 7 June 2024 (Friday).

She will be debating three key topics within the field of adjudication, providing her extensive experience and keen insight to the panel. She is joined by distinguished practitioners Foo Joon Liang, Kevin Prakash, Leong Hong Kit, Aniz Ahmad Amirudin and Nadesh Ganabaskaran for the debate. The session will be moderated by retired Federal Court Justice Dato’ Mary Lim Thiam Suan.

The masterclass also includes sessions discussing the evolution of CIPAA throughout the years, an evaluation of the future of CIPAA, and a discussion of the adjudication regimes across borders. The sessions will be led by leading practitioners such as Rajendra Navaratnam, Kuhendran Thanapalasingan and Lam Wai Loon, and moderated by the esteemed YA Dato’ Lee Swee Seng and YA Dato' Lim Chong Fong JJCA, and YA Dato’ Nadzarin bin Wok Nordin HCJ. This is an excellent opportunity for any construction industry practitioner to sharpen their adjudication skills.

The event is open to the public and will run from 9.00am to 6.30pm at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).
