Kok Su Ann, senior partner of our Dispute Resolution Team, will be speaking at the “Kelantan Bar Civil Law Conference 2025” on 17 February 2025 (Monday).

She will be speaking on understanding valuation reports in land reference matters, leveraging her rich experience in land acquisition proceedings, having appeared at land inquiries and at all levels of Court in relation to Land Reference proceedings.

With its theme of “Navigating Legal Challenges in Modern Times”, other key topics at this conference include an introduction to judicial reviews, tips on effective legal research, a discussion on factors to consider in claims of prosthesis and orthosis in running down cases, and an examination of recent trends in damages in medical negligence matters. These sessions will be led by other practitioners such as Richard Wee, Jamie Wong Sie Min, R Jayabalan and Razlan Hadri bin Zulkifli.

The conference will be capped off by a panel discussion and Q&A session involving all speakers, and an open floor discussion on emerging legal issues.

The event will run from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at the Perdana Hotel in Kota Bharu.
